Ab Equipment That Will Actually Work

By Rick Miller

So many different ab machines are constantly advertised on late night tv. This goes to show that just about everyone is looking for that easy way to get abs. Advertisers are good at tricking people into thinking they can get ripped by using their product, making it seem effortless. If this was the case though, why is everyone overweight?

Are these machines really that ineffective or is there something else going on? Certainly a lot of research goes into developing the next ab rocker, and if people actually used them as often as they should, they would ceratainly get results. The main problem is that people get excited from the commercials but then lose their motivation to work out once they get the equipment home. So don't spend money where you don't have to.

The one good thing about all these ab commercials is that they are great at getting you motivated to workout. So while it's not the best use of your money to purchase one of these machines, they can still get your mind on the right track. What we really need to do is find some affordable ab machines that do what they claim.

Before we get into the 2 best tried and truly tested abdominal exercise machines, it would be remiss to not mention that is is vitally important to also be eating right. No machine is going to be some magic bullet for getting rid of your belly fat, but if you combine a healthy diet with consistent exercise you can be on your way to that 6-pack.

So, with that said, lets take a look at one of the most effective and classic ab machines ever invented, the so called ab wheel. Ab wheels have been called the best core trainer ever invented. The reason is simple, they strengthen your core like no other product out there. They are also very affordable and compact, making them ideal for use in your home.

Another effective tool is a device which wraps around your midsection. By using electrical muscle stimulation to activate and stimulate all your abdominal and core muscles, it causes them to contract over and over again, making your muscles really work. This is definitely one of the easiest ways to shape up your core muscles.
