As if tungsten isn't already horrible, on top of that did you know that tungsten wedding bands can't even be resized? So say you bought a ring for your engagement and then a few months later you lost some weight. After the weight loss you notice that the ring doesn't fit anymore, if you own a tungsten carbide ring you can't do anything in regard to resizing it. That is not the main issue when it comes to rings made out of gold and platinum you can resize it as many times as you want. Yet an additional reason why tungsten is terrible.
If I ever were to obtain a tungsten wedding band, I would never wear it. That is how much I hate tungsten. I think it is discourteous to get your loved one a ring made of tungsten. After doing further research on tungsten, I found out that tungsten wedding bands cannot be cut off your finger in case of emergency. So if you ever for any reason are in any emergency regarding your hands, accept the fact that your ring cannot be cut off.
Rather if you were to stick with gold or platinum, this would not be a problem. Gold or platinum can be cut off the finger quickly in case of emergency. Also with gold and platinum, it looks much more beautiful as opposed to tungsten which looks like a piece of aluminum on your finger. Also please remember that tungsten can easily crack as oppose to other rings made of gold and platinum. Another reason why tungsten should not even is an option for when it comes to rings.
I tried finding the benefits about tungsten rings and there is really nothing good about them. Yea they can be somewhat a cheaper price but you get what you pay for. And what you pay for when you buy tungsten is a ring that will probably break in a few months. When I plan on buying a ring, I will definitely be avoiding tungsten wedding rings. They offer absolutely nothing but trouble after you buy them.
As you can see I am strongly against anyone wearing a tungsten ring. I would rather wear cubic zirconium rather than get a tungsten wedding band. If you do a lot more research about tungsten rings you will see why I am strongly against tungsten. They are really inferior in quality. And they should not be provided for any rings, wedding or not.
