I'm wagering that of all the guns you've acquired from fallen enemies in Call Of Duty MW3, probably less than one percent of the time you've found yourself wielding the L86 LSW in your hands! It's the very first LMG to become unlocked leaving most players believing it isn't great.
It is honestly a really heavy and slow gun with heaps of recoil and barely anyone will bother levelling it up to when the most incredible attachment becomes available for it. The attachment that really opens the L86 up to being unstoppable is actually really difficult to use in itself on another weapon too! So what is the result of combining the worst machine gun with the worst attachment? Just the best combination in the whole game!
That's right, put the Thermal Scope on the L86 LSW and it will become a machine gun sniper. gives you the ability to stand totally erect and be shooting long shots all game and remain repeatedly on target. This literally turns it into a machine sniper!
I in fact like to go with the LSW without the grip, instead using the silencer (with the attachments perk). The thermal scope still brings the recoil well under control and the silencer will enable you to creep about the map plucking noobs off from the shadows. No red dot on the map from me thanks very much!
I have actually fully included this weapon with my sniper, or "ghost" set-up, along with Blind Eye Pro, Assassin Pro and Stalker Pro. It will let you stay off the map, off the radars and there is also the added benefit that I can shoot practically any killstreak out of the sky as a result of the additional damage from blind eye pro and the big magazine on the LSW.
So what are you waiting for? Slip in your MW3 disc and start levelling your LSW up so you can get that thermal scope happening and you can start pwning all the noobs!
