Wrestling Skill & Benefits Bike Riding Can Have

By Rob Sutter

Bike riding is one of the most exhilarating exercises you can think of and it's accessible, to boot. Just about anyone can pick up a bicycle and start riding for great distances and it will serve as an excellent form of exercise as well. I am also someone who values professional wrestling highly and I have to wonder whether or not performance can be maintained thanks to this exercise. However, from what I've learned, maintenance is not only possible but improvement can come about as well.

I think the worst case offenders here are the part-time workers who come about for the sake of heightening the ratings. You have such people as The Rock, Triple H, and Brock Lesnar who come in to only work a few specific dates throughout the year and I have to wonder why this is when a number of them cannot perform that well. Lesnar does well enough on his own, considering that he's a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. However, men like Triple H and the Rock have been out of action for a while and their performances suffer.

If you think that every full time performer is going to operate well in the ring, I'd like to direct your attention to Ryback. On the surface, he's a large man with muscles upon muscles but that's just the shell. Even though he's a powerhouse, he oftentimes becomes tired during matches and his bouts have been kept at minimums for a number of reasons. It's clear that he's not quite as conditioned as a number of other stars and he needed to spend more time becoming better honed.

As you could imagine, I am not a terribly big fan of wrestlers not keeping themselves in the shape needed to compete at high levels. This is why I recommend that they take up bike riding more often and its focus on cardiovascular conditioning cannot be denied. With movement being done at constant paces, you can be certain that it's going to test just how long people can travel for. The importance of fitness is one of the features that companies like Linus Bike can support.-

Wrestling, as of now, would be best suited if there was more of an even focus in terms of aesthetics and talent. However, it seems like the former has overpowered the latter in a number of cases and I can't imagine that WWE has found a good balance between the two yet. Wrestlers have to perform well; it doesn't matter if they're solely brought on because they have the ideal look. If it's a matter of conditioning, then an activity like bike riding can pose a number of incentives in the long run.
