Horror Films The Way To Crave Your Satisfaction For Entertainment

By Jorgianno Romanelli

Before there were movies people were still able to find way to entertain themselves. They read books, watched plays, or listened to music to get that enjoyment. Out of the many different emotions the human being can express from enjoying one or any of these activities the one that is most difficult and most interesting for most to feel is being afraid.

There's a good reason why horror is one of the genres that exists among movies and it's because people love to watch them. It doesn't necessarily have to be the time of season like Halloween or Friday the 13th for people to want to enjoy them either. It could be the middle of July or during Christmas and watching a horror film is just as enjoyable as opening presents or feasting on a huge turkey on Thanksgiving. The demand for these types of films is so high that you can come across a whole slew of them at any online video service like Netflix.

Out of all the emotions like happy, sad or tired, fear is one of the strongest emotions a human being can express. This is not just true because it is an emotion that we don't like to feel and we perhaps try not to show often, but because it has so much power. The strength of this emotion is so powerful that when a horror movies comes along and actually instills fear in any of us, especially the one seeking entertainment, then it can be such a thrilling experience.

When you add into the interesting aspect that fear incorporates in the unrelenting need for horror movies, then you really got something. Happiness, sadness, excited, do not compare to the emotion of fear. Fear has always been a deep emotion that none of us expect to express which is why horror movies are so sought after. Unfortunately, this has also caused a whole lot of lower quality horror movies to have saturated the market.

Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday the 13th, are two films that have revolutionized the horror genre and from them rose two of the most iconic figured in all of horror, Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. It's because of these two characters that have made them multi-million dollar franchises.

Blood, gore, vampires, monsters, serial killers and many other themes such as these are among several that these horror movies use to entertain audiences world-wide and evoke fear into them. They will always be around for the next generation to come and will continue to evolve into even scarier films that we can ever imagine.
