I recently received the chance to see "Iron Man 3" in theaters and I believed that it was one of the better superhero movies of all time. I thought that it did well as the finale in trilogy, as it tied up all of the loose ends to the series, which cannot be said about other third movies in other franchises. There were a number of scenes that grabbed my attention and did not let go. The Iron Man suits, for example, caught my eye and I can easily attribute designing vehicle wraps to them.
Tony Stark continually builds new models for his Iron Man suits and each one seems to be better than the last. However, each one is aesthetically different and I am sure that you can debate over which ones look the best. After all, everyone is going to have their own opinions on the matter, right? The latest one from the films, Mark 42, is one that I have mixed feelings on. I thought that the functionality of the suit was brilliant but the look of it simply didn't do anything for me.
Each superhero has his or her own colors which are worn and Iron Man is no exception. His colors have been, at least in my mind, red and gold. This is the ideal scheme because the red pops out and looks more dynamic while gold is utilized in order to accent it without seeing too overbearing. These days, though, I can't help but feel as though the gold is too prevalent to where the shade of crimson is no longer seen and I don't seem to deem the suit as pleasing to the eye as it once was.
However, does this mean that designing vehicle wraps has to stick to red and gold alone? Not at all because there are suit designs which play around with this quite a bit, such as Mark II and its chrome look apart from the arc reactor which is a glowing bright blue. There is also Mark V, which swaps out the gold for the aforementioned chrome, which actually looks nice in hindsight. These colors could be attractive for wraps developed by authorities on the matter like JMR Graphics.
I thoroughly enjoyed "Iron Man 3" and it's unique for me to say this because I can become bored with films and television quite easily. I believe that anyone who enjoys movies - superheroes or not - owes it to themselves to see this. It's a Best Movie of 2013 candidate, in my eyes, and for good reasons. Not only do the scenes and characters work nicely but the visuals can easily parlay into the action of designing vehicle wraps if an idea is needed.
